Welcome!
I’m so glad you have decided to take this courageous step to begin therapy. You may be navigating a season of change while carrying anxiety that makes everything feel more intense—the overthinking, the physical tension, the feeling that you should be coping better than you are. Life transitions can amplify worry and self-doubt, leaving you feeling stuck between who you were and who you’re becoming.
I view therapy as a space free from judgment, rooted in empathy, authenticity, and compassion—a safe and steady place to unpack what’s happening internally while the outside world feels uncertain. Whether you’re navigating challenging life transitions or strengthening personal relationships, therapy can help us create a safe space where your unique experiences are valued and your voice remains at the center of our work and, ultimately, your healing.
Working with me…
Therapy with me is collaborative, paced to you, and grounded in respect for your lived experience. As a clinician with both lived and professional experience supporting individuals from diverse and historically marginalized backgrounds, I prioritize incorporating intersectional and culturally competent principles into my practice. We will focus on identifying and understanding patterns present in your life—whether emotional, relational, or behavioral—not to judge them, but to understand why they developed and whether they’re still serving you. Together, we make room for both insight and relief by exploring what’s happening beneath the surface and finding effective ways to feel more steady, present, and connected in your daily life.
My therapeutic practice…
With a strong passion for collaborating with adults, I center my work on evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. As a clinician, I make it my mission to help us explore emotions and patterns and to talk about how they show up in your relationships, work, boundaries, and daily life. It is my goal for therapy to become something that supports you beyond our sessions.
About Me
Education and training…
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, specializing in Social Work Practice with Adults and Families. During graduate school, I completed clinical training at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, where I conducted individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Prior to graduate school, I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science from Michigan State University.
When I am not giving therapy…
I enjoy reading new books, baking, and tending to my growing collection of houseplants.
Thank you …
I hope to make therapy a space that feels grounding, supportive, and meaningful. If you’re ready for a place where you can show up as you are and work toward real change.
